Had a fab time! The location is unbeatable, right near the Lyric. Room was nice and had everything we needed. Big plus for the fridge and tea tray! The only bummer was the entrance to the parking lot. it was super tight. Still, breakfast made up for it – really well cooked and a great choice!

The food scene around Spilman is mint! I stumbled upon Yr Hen Dderwen Wetherspoons and had a cracking pint alongside a hearty meal. Close by, Cafe at No 4 serves up delightful eats I couldn’t resist. Plus, the hotel’s friendly vibe and spotless rooms made my solo adventure a positive breeze.

Navigating from the train station had a cheeky climb, but the steps by the castle offered killer views as a sweet bonus. Not a biggie, really!
